Taking a break is very important for our health and well-being. It takes our mind away from everyday stress, refreshes us and let our brain to process the information we were bombarded by for the whole day. So put your feet up and relax. Forget for a moment about the world around and just take few deep breaths. In… and out… and again… Ahhhh……

Hi! Thanks for this delightful article on taking a break.
All too often, I have found myself working at the computer for hours upon hours without taking a break. I know. It’s bad.
I particularly like this quote, “Rest and comfort are two different things. Rest is a planned temporary time to refresh and refocus the leader. Comfort is when you settle into unproductive routines and accept satisfactory or unsatisfactory results.” I always used to thing of breaks as “comfort.” Now I see otherwise.
Do you think breaks should be scheduled or whenever you think you need one?
Appreciate your comment! About your question- I think it depends on the person, what better suit the personality type. Some people feel better when things are scheduled, some prefer whenever they feel like it approach. As long as you take your breaks, it does not matter.
I love these relaxation quotes! Life is just so busy and it seems as though all we do is go, go, go. I find people are so busy now that when they do have a moment, they just don’t know how to relax. But relaxation and meditation are so important! Important physically and especially mentally. Thanks for the quotes and the reminder of why we all need to take a break sometimes!
You welcome Elsa 🙂 I’m glad you liked it!
This rocks my world 🎉
These are just too nice! I found you while looking for quotes to go along some pictures I’m planning to post on my social media. If you (and the authors) don’t mind I’ll borrow them. My goal is to connect my “fans” with the importance of rest (meditation), and how beneficial to the body it is. The goal is to emphasize the importance to regularly step out of our busy lives to put our minds to rest.
Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to put this wonderful site together.
Appreciate your comment Markus!
Please do share the quotes, lets spread the good words around 🙂
I love meditation and the idea to share the benefits of it and taking a rest from busy life.
Even the short few minutes escape counts for our body and mind.
Good luck with your social media!
